Fringe Review *** A Trilogy of Horrors ***

In this show, three characters each took a turn at telling their stories; these tales are based the writings of Charles Dickens, Mary Shelley and Edgar Allan Poe.

It dealt with a range of controversial issues including the afterlife, immortality and insanity, as well as being a great example of dark comedy.

It is also so well acted that the audience can start to empathise with the characters portrayed. However, the last story especially is quite gruesome and the other two are also scary or sad in some parts so I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone but if you enjoy gripping tales feel free to go along but come prepared.

It is on at a really accessible venue.
