2026 Membership Survey Results
At get2gether, we believe that everyone has the right to love and friendship. Through our events, activities and courses, we work alongside members to reduce social isolation and increase self-determination and emotional resilience. In our 2026 Membership Survey, 54 active members shared how get2gether has supported them to build friendships, develop confidence and learn new skills. We are excited to share the results of this survey, alongside some of the highlights from 2025!
Building Friendships and Healthy Relationships
One of get2gether’s main aims is to reduce social isolation.Through our events and courses, members have opportunities to meet new people and build healthy relationships in safe and inclusive spaces. 81% of members said they had more friends because of get2gether.
85% said they felt happier because of get2gether.
87% said being a member of get2gether made their life better.
In 2025, get2gether hosted 202 events, including in-person events, online events, hybrid events and Big Nights Out.

The survey results tell us one part of the story. Members’ sharing their experiences with us help us understand what those numbers mean in reality.
“Because of get2gether, my life of sitting in silence has changed. You guys helped me talk, sing and be funny sometimes. You really have helped me be happy.”
“I’m going to be honest, if it wasn’t for get2gether I don’t think I’d be here. I have been in the house for the last 2 months, just me and my support. Today was the first time I have been out and with other people…I’m so proud of myself for doing it.”
Making choices and trying new things

“Me and my girlfriend were talking about consent and what was ok, not ok. I don’t feel so scared having those conversations like I used to. The more I join LTAS the more I feel able to talk about these things.”

What’s next?
The feedback from our 2026 Membership Survey gives us the chance to celebrate what is working well and think about how we can continue creating opportunities that matter to get2gether members. As a member-led organisation, our members shape what we do. We will continue listening to their experiences and ideas, creating opportunities where adults with disabilities can meet others and build healthy relationships.
Thank you to everyone who completed the 2026 survey!
