This December we’re off to see this year’s Christmas panto! On the cover we have a picture of our members and Grant Stott, the panto villain at The Merlin! Magic happens when you go out and about!

How was your 2024? This year at get2gether, we have been BUSY!! We’ve delivered at least 13-15 events per month, 11 club nights and 4 courses (2x Let’s Talk about Sex, 1 x Live your Life and 1x friendship course).

At least 71% of our events were lead by members – this could be you! Do you like meeting new people, being a connector and building up your skills? We are always looking for new ideas and new members to step forward and up to the challenge! Our member Savannah said “I was a bit nervous beforehand but also very excited…loads of people turned up and had a great time which was so good! It was so nice to see everyone having fun and enjoying the event.”

The magic happens when you go out and about – we love visiting mainstream venues. We believe that disabled people have the right to be everywhere, that’s why we only attend or host events in accessible venues. In 2024 we went for meals, coffees, pub quizzes, in-person skill shares and wellbeing events. What was your favourite?

We are SO excited for 2025. What will get2gether do in our TWELTH YEAR?? Come and join us, there’s always space for you – at the table for food, at the Steering Group meetings, online with Monday Magic or at our Wild Night In. Our wonderful Ambassadors will look out for you!
