More chances to connect in your local area in 2026

Getting out and meeting people in your local area isn’t always easy, especially if you live outside the city. That’s why we’re so excited to bring even more get2gether events to East Lothian in 2026!

Events like our Karaoke Disco in Wallyford are already a firm favourite. Groups such as the New Beginnings Club (NBC) often come along to sing, chat, and meet people from across the community.

Shaping what Comes Next

At the November Karaoke Disco at Wallyford, Ambassador Philip spent time chatting with members about the kinds of events they’d like to see in East Lothian. The get2gether team has also been busy reaching out to local members by phone to gather feedback and ideas. These conversations are helping shape a wide range of events and activities for 2026, making sure they reflect what members really want.

That means there will be even more get2gether events happening in East Lothian this year, so look out for updates in your Community Magazine!

Our first event in East Lothian this year will be Drinks with Friends in Musselburgh on Wednesday 28th January. It will be a great opportunity to catch up with your local community and meet people from across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
