New Ambassador Philip!

We are delighted to introduce Philip as our new Ambassador! Philip (he/him) started as a member and hosted his first summer hang and events in 2022. He, in 2024,  is now our newest Ambassador. Philip loves to welcome people and creating a great atmosphere! 

When Philip isn’t working, he loves to check out new venues and potential event spaces. Philip loves swimming and playing pool. He loves being outside and in nature. He is creative and friendly, loves to be around people and is challenging himself by taking on this role at get2gether. 

“Hi everyone!

I applied for the job at get2gether because I didn’t have anything BIG to think about or do…I was sitting at home scratching my head and thought ‘what should I do?’ I kept going to get2gether events and it gave me a purpose. 

get2gether also saw purpose in me because I kept turning up.

Having a job gets me out of my bed, gives me more money in the bank and more responsibilities. I love getting to work with Coordinators and Andy but also most importantly, working with members! I love working with people to have a better life. 

Now I know that I’m earning more money, it means I can save for items that are important to me.

I would like to work towards more hours and more responsibility, perhaps a more full time job. I would like to build on that. 

I feel that the skills I bring are 90% of the time I am on time but 100% of time I am polite, friendly, professional, patient. 

I bring a lot of energy and humour and I get thoroughly stuck in!
